National Organization Mission

The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is the professional membership organization for individuals involved in the financial management of healthcare. HFMA serves and represents members by

Providing professional development through education, information, certification,peer interaction and leadership training

Influencing healthcare financial management and accounting policy decisions, principles and practices through advocacy and dissemination of information; and

Establishing and promoting the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.

Chairman's Theme

Debora Kuchka-Craig, FHFMA is the 2010-2011 National Chairman.  She has chosen Step Up as her theme.  "It evokes the passion that healthcare finance leaders need to solve our industry's formidable challenges, along with the characteristics that make passion a positive force for change: a willingness to engage and empower people across traditional boundaries, a sense of urgency, and an eagerness to accept accountability.  HFMA provides the forum for us to share our experiences as we step up to meet our ever-changing challenges."
